Norwood House Nursing Home has recently (January 2024) been rated as ‘Requires Improvement’ by CQC. The gaps highlighted in the report have since been addressed, and it has presented an opportunity for the Home to review and further enhance the governance of what Norwood House sets to deliver.
The report continues to highlight the positive attention to care through personalised and holistic care plans to meet each resident’s needs and wishes. This quintessential delivery of care remains a strong point, as was highlighted in the report, and we continued to do everything to keep our residents safe, cared for, and engaged.
All the remedial actions highlighted by CQC in their report have since been actioned and we are awaiting a further re-inspection.
We continue to deliver in Norwood House’s aims to ‘understand care and practice compassion’.
